  • Character: Animalic, urinous-sharp, bright, deer musk, dry-woody.

  • Use: A powerful fixative for leather, chypre, fougère, and oriental compositions. Enhances diffusion while adding a penetrating, cutting animalic edge.

  • Handling: Highly tenacious. Use at trace amounts (0.05% to 0.2%) for subtle warmth, or up to 1% for pronounced sharpness. Allow 24 hours to settle.

  • Pairings: Labdanum, Castoreum, Patchouli, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Ambergris, Amber accords, Leather accords, Vanilla.
