Citropol® F is a next-gen fragrance material from P2 Science, built on renewable pine and citrus streams. It’s biodegradable, clean, and designed for modern perfumery.
As a fixative, Citropol F slows the lift of volatile notes, smooths transitions between accords, and extends the presence of your fragrance. At low percentages it helps fragrances feel more polished and persistent.
As a carrier, it can take on the role usually filled by IPM, MCT, or jojoba. With medium viscosity and excellent spreading, it can form the bulk of a perfume oil base or act as a solubilizer for tricky naturals and aroma chemicals. Less greasy than traditional oils, it gives compositions a light, modern skin feel.
Why use it:
- Extends longevity and smooths transitions into the drydown.
- Works as a carrier base for oil perfumes.
- Renewable, biodegradable, and skin-friendly.
- Low odor, won’t disrupt your accords.
- Compatible with alcohol systems, oils, and solids.
Usage guide:
- As fixative: 0.5% → 5% of formula.
