LEATHER OUD :: BASE COMPOUND

A reconstruction of precious agarwood inspired by the darker, more uncompromising facets of oud. Built from animalic-leathery materials that capture burning wood, saddle leather, and the fecal-indolic intensity of natural oud resin. Contains captive molecules found in natural oud, preserving its complex character through isolated compounds. Delivers raw authenticity, the kind found between sweetness, smoke, and leather worn close to skin. Famously used by perfumer Alberto Morillas in Gucci Guilty Absolute and Gucci Guilty Oud, where it provides the signature animalic-leather backbone.

USE
Acts as a fecal-indolic modifier for oud compositions, dirty florals, rose themes, vintage musks, and raw leather accords. Anchors oriental and woody frameworks with uncompromising depth and persistence. Ideal for building raunchy, sensual bases that support rose, musk and leather without reservation. Adds extreme tenacity, animalic intensity and oudy complexity. Requires significant dilution, extremely powerful at full strength.

HANDLING
